Limonium platyphyllum Violetta

Sprays of tiny violet-blue flowers over rosettes of broad leaves.

Common name:  Sea Lavender
Flowering period:  Late summer.
Growing conditions:  Ideal for front of sunny, well-drained border. Even thrives in sandy soils.
Special note:  Flowers dry well so good for cutting.
Typical mature height:  24 inches ( 61 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
