Tall shrub with interesting, serrated leaves. Red flowers on mature plants.

Flowering period:  Spring.
Growing conditions:  Moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
Special note:  Protect in severe winters. If foliage cut down by light frosts, should shoot again from base. Grows most quickly in autumn!.
