Upright stems of spikes of several large crimson-scarlet flowers.

Flowering period:  Late summer and autumn.
Growing conditions:  Sun and some moisture.
Special note:  Formerly Schizostylis major. Clump-forming.
Typical mature height:  24 inches ( 61 cms )
