Rudbeckia subtomentosa Henry Eilers

Yellow flowers like most rudbeckias, although finely-quilled petals make this different from others.

Flowering period:  August to October.
Growing conditions:  Full sun or light shade, preferably in well-drained, heavy soil.
Typical mature height:  40 inches ( 102 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
	This is an insect-friendly plant which gives bees and other insects easy access to nectar and pollen.
