Miscanthus sinensis Strictus

Compact, clump-forming deciduous grass. Upright, spiky foliage cross-banded with yellow. Crinkly silver flowering plumes to 7ft (2m).

Flowering period:  Mid autumn.
Growing conditions:  Well-drained soil in sun.
Typical mature height:  84 inches ( 213 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
