Deep purple leaves. Deep blue flower spikes. Mat-forming evergreen.

Flowering period:  Late spring and early summer.
Growing conditions:  Most soils if moist and well-drained. Sun or shade.
Typical mature height:  8 inches ( 20 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
	This is an insect-friendly plant which gives bees and other insects easy access to nectar and pollen.
