Hesperantha coccinea Major

Upright stems of spikes of several large crimson-scarlet flowers.

Flowering period:  Late summer and autumn.
Growing conditions:  Sun and some moisture.
Special note:  Formerly Schizostylis major. Clump-forming.
Typical mature height:  24 inches ( 61 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
	This plant has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
